Fossil Ridge Creative Center is a art, conference, and gallery space adjacent to the historic Texas Double Hearts Ranch.

My Role: Create brand system for the FRCC that embodies the heart of the ranch, creativity, and community that can be used with original ranch logo.

PROBLEM

Creating a logo that showcases all the aspects of the creative center, while be complimentary to the existing Double Heart Ranch logo.

GOAL

Create a logo system that can be used for print, web, and environmental display. Embody the spirit of community, connection, heart, and teh fossils found on the ranch.

LOGO

The design takes inspiration from fossils impressions, animal horns, and relief prints. The color palette was taken form the natural landscape, and the curved lines pull together to form a heart while showing connectivity of creative ideas.

Secondary Environmental Style

In larger-scale uses like signage or 3-dimensional renders, a background color may be used to show even more depth and the layers of the Texas landscape.
